I can make cute things...
I can make cute things, I promise! I made this guy for a woman of etsy who was going away to college and was sad to leave her bunny. His name is Taco! You cannot say that that isn't the greatest name ever! I'm hoping to make a few more similar style bunnies, since everyone seems to love the realistic look of him. That being said, I do have a few monsters and zombies sitting next to me, waiting to go on etsy!

Meet the Zombie Bunny!
Im kind of in love with him... Believe it or not, he's my first rabbit! I made him to use up the rest of this year, hence why his ear has been nibbled off by other zombies! The veins coming out of his leg and ear look amazing, Im glad I switched from embroidery floss to yarn. Also, I think I've brought my mom to the dark side. When I made him, she said "He needs some stitches in his side, not the guts spilling out like the other guys" Thanks Mom!

Crochet Zombies!
When you spend every day making cute little toys for babies, the scary has to come out eventually. I present my crochet zombies! Each one is a product of too many late nights and villianous laughter. So far, the brown bear with the removable brain has been sold, and there is one more that has yet to be photographed. The other 2 are still available in my etsy shop dearbitsy.etsy.com

Bicycle!
Meet Bunny the bicycle! Ain't she...umm... ready for a make-over? Well, she got one this summer! Here are old photos of her, before I restored and painted her. Tomorrow, she will be ready for assembly! My plan is to ride to school every so often (about 3 miles there).
If anyone out there is even reading this, I need some help! Bunny the bicycle is a mystery bike! I got her from a friend of a friend. I figured out she's a Montgomery Ward Hawthorne from at the earliest 1970. Does anyone have any more information for me?
On a different note, I purchased paper for the boxes I mentioned yesterday! 1 will have road maps, 1 will have black and gray stripes, and my favorite will have an Alice in Wonderland theme!

Actual Blogger
I've decided to make this into an offical blog, not just a dumping ground for my patterns. I'll use it to preview what I'm working on for my etsy shop (DearBitsy), tell tales of my thrifting in Richmond, VA, and my last year in high school.
So, The first photo is a brand new item in my shop! A hand-painted jewelry box! I painted it to have the appearance of stitched leather, without the leather! The second photo is a box I'm saving for the minute, until I can find a big enough box! Its another jewelry box I have, fully lined and hand painted. I'm having a hard time finding a box for it though! It's 14x9x4 inches!
I also found a miracle in the Habitat for Humanities thrift store! 3 boxes packaged together, for 2 dollars! They are a bit beat up and are missing handles, but it was too good to pass up! The remind me of old luggage!
The brown box is available on my etsy shop for 16 dollars! http://www.etsy.com/shop/dearbitsy
